My time in America wasn't so bad (apart from getting rob and nearly shot and having the police do nothing because I'm gay but such is life). I both loved and hated it equally. Not because of racism or prejudice, just bcause the entire culture stressed me out and I couldn't hack it in the long run.

Wellllll....I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's probably very similar here as it is where you are in terms of racism, etc. Also, America is very large so you can't generalize the whole place. Some parts are worse than others. Like where I live, there's about 3 black people in a 45 mile radius, but there aren't any lynchings or anything like that. People tend to be closeted about their racism where it exists. Some places there is no racial divide at all. Etc...etc....
