Got a lot of things running through my head right now: Winter Olympics, Carnaval ftw, Valentine's Day ftl...

Ok, starting off:

1) I'm almost done with Internal Medicine. Two more classes, the final exam, and off to Surgery I go! I really, really liked Internal Medicine, so I'm sad, but Surgery is buttloads easier, so... I have conflicting emotions.

All my surgery practice courses were kind of a let down so... French surgeons are mostly douches OTZ

I'm glad I've finished Anatomical pathology last midterms... it's was full of " meh... fuck the prostate adenocarcinoma scale and all the other scales too" OTZ

PARASITOLOGY IS SO FUNNY XD I love helminths too ( lol what ) c'mon protozoa are cool too ( okay, not as much as a taenia, though )

Internal medicine is SO. COOL. <333

And most surgeons in all countries are douches, from what I can tell. xDD My anatomy teachers were all surgeons, and most were major douches.

Woe... I have yet to finish Anatomical pathology. We're getting started on the cardiovascular system, yaaay.

Parasitology is cool, but the teachers make it horrible. So many things to learn! Which are the focal areas for Schistosomiasis blah blah. But Helminths were kind of cute. :D I liked Ancylostoma duodenale's little teeth (lol crazy). And Taenia were badass, except when it came to differenciating T. solium from T. saginata. ;A;

(Btw, 'cause I'm curious, what subjects are you viewing this year? It looks like we've seen basically the same things! :O)

first semester was full of anatomical pathology, physiology ( kidneys, and intestines ) , nutrition( fucking lol ) , AND DEFENSE REACTIONS MODULE AARRRG ( immunology, bacteriology, parasitology/mycology , some biochesmistery too ) urg

Second semester is all about semiology , hematology, genetics and pharmacology ( URRRG AAAAHHH ) and some other subjects..

OTZ moreover I'm taking an immunopathology master course ( I'm a masochist HUUURR ) OTZ x 1000

We don't study by semesters in my university, but we do have subjects that are one semester long, and others that are all year long, yeaaah.

This year we have one semester of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Public Health (ftl), and Anatomical pathology, pathophysiology and parasitology all year long.

Immunopathology??? Hoshit, sounds brutal. O__O
