I'm not taking part at strike anymore. Last Tuesday I started working again, and of course many people didn't approve my decision. Well, I don't want to talk about it right now. At least I'll have enough time to regret it here - there'll be a meeting at this hotel next week and boss made sure he wants me to be there. It's at debaser28 hometown, which ( Read more... )

You're going to to love this place, it's too beautiful. Too bad that I'm desperately searching for a job and a place to stay and I'm going to Feira de Santana next week (read my reply to your comment on my lj). Enjoy the city and bring your bikini and sunblock.:)

No, forget my last comment, Adriana. I like you and I think you deserve the whole truth: the truth is that my life is a huge mess right now, I'm really feeling overwhelmed by a lot of stuff and I don't think I can handle doing little chat, meeting people, etc and, more importantly, I'm not sure if I can leave you a good first impression, right now. The part about me being unemployed is true, tough.

I hope you don't hate me because of that or anything.

Anyway, enjoy the city.*g*

Paula, I'm sorry for you, really, really sorry, because it must be awful to be fired and have to look for a job at another city - I know Feira de Santana, it's close to yours but it's not where you're used to live and have your family and friens! Hey, I don't hate you and I hope you'll have luck, in the future we can meet!! :o)

The worst part of it all is that I really don't have the energy to go looking for jobs or anything like that...Things are happening all at the same time in my life, I'm feeling kind of paralized by the bright lights.*g*

Hey, I don't hate you and I hope you'll have luck, in the future we can meet!! :o)

You're very sweet, Adriana and I knew you would understand. Sorry for being such a rude friend.

You're back!!! And I'm replaying with only a day's delay.

Lots of maps. And a Powerpuff Girl! :-)
It actually looks quite cozy! - When I was working on the PBZ (bank) project, we were asked to design open space departments filled with these. When employees found out about it, they were furious - they were used to sharing regular offices with not more than 2 people, having 'single' desks, and this new scenario was....definitely what they were expecting. Greedy bastards. Directors and department managers just laughed in their face - from the comfort of their own offices.

You've seen my desk - I often have to dig out keyboard and mouse from underneath piles of plans despite all the 'single desk' space. *g*

I'm answering just 6 days later, lol
The maps thing: see, I used to be a good Geography student but at some point I lost my touch... I can tell you Brasil has 5 regions (south, southeast, north, northeast and central-west, where I live now), but please don't ask about how many states we have... and states' capitals (although I do remember south and southeast ones)... as I'm always on the phone or mailing to people from other states (as part of my job) maps help me to identify where they are in this big country of mine! The largest blue one shows Niterói; the orange and white ones show museums which belong to National Artistic and Historic Heritage Institute (where I work) all over the country, just like its offices around Brazil. And the other two basically tell me regions and states' names and capitals...
