I don't normally talk a lot about my personal life, here, but an event, last week, warrants an announcement.

Last Friday, at Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, I got down on one knee and proposed to my girlfriend, Julie. She said, "Yes."

We haven't planned a wedding date, yet, but it seems likely that it will be next Spring.

On the second picture at this link, on the left, you can see the beginnings of some smaller pools. We were standing in a fairly still pool off to the left of the frame, and I had a couple of kids scattering rose petals in the water. The pictures don't do the place justice.

I think there's every chance that we'll have such a life, together.
