I heard this on a BBC Radio One Podcast. It featured this group called the Axis of Awesome who were performing at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and they did a song called "4 chords". It's a medley of songs from the whole history of pop music and it proves how there are only 4 chords used over the years!

Cool video. But, well, I wouldn't really call this the whole history of pop music, even though it does showcase a nice mix of songs. As a musician, however, I can tell you that this wasn't really a revelation for me. But I like the vid, nonetheless. Have watched the first one, will watch the second one later.
