I parked my car outside the house last night directly under a tree.

As a result, my car got carpet bombed by a squadron of nature's dive bombers. The splatter pattern suggests several birds or just one plucky "bomber" with a stomach upset. Precision bombing indeed....

Why do we persist to use the term "Czar" for a person in charge of a government issue, like "counter-terrorism czar", "anti-drugs czar" or "population policy czar"? Look at what happened to the last proper Czar, Nick Romanov the second.
