Goodbye Livejournal, and Hello Dreamwidith!

I have been on livejournal for five years, and in fandom for close to ten years. *shakes head* This has been the home for great fannish writers, fiction, and discussion. And I eventually left FF.net for livejournal, so I can join in the great community of fannish people.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I, too, am disgusted by LJ recently, but I fear I've taken a bit of an ostrich approach and buried my head in the sand.

I've added you at DW, although I confess I don't check in there often.

I understand where you coming from, but after I read the last post on the ljstaff com, I just couldn't ignore it anymore. I hope that a good portion of fandom go to Dreamwidith but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I'm going to keep this journal to comment, and keep track of what's going in my fandoms.

And that's okay that you're not on DW often. That was the way I was with my own DW account for several months now. However, I refuse to give Lj more money if they going to treat me, and the rest of the customers that way. I will be giving it to Dreamwidith who treats their user much, much better.
