Didn't get it.

Again.
I was really hopeful about this one too.
The design shop never even called. Not even to say "sorry, but no"
....I hate this feeling of failure.
I finished college....
Isn't it supposed to be easier now?

-sigh-

job

No. Not to sound negative, but life doesn't usually get "easy." If you do it right, it gets better, but not easier. Not to worry, though, your ability also increases, so it tends to work out just fine. Really, you will be okay.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh. It's just best to face reality, I think. The work in college is hard, but your real-life difficulties are typically minimized while you're in college. Once you're out, real life sort of sneaks up on you. Just remember, though, you don't have to do homework. I've been out of college for 5+ years, and I still stop to appreciate the lack of homework from time to time.

I know. My 'isn't it supposed to be easier now?' was more whining that actual thought. I realize it's hard, but sometimes a little whine makes me feel less bummed about the situation.

I don't have to do homework, but I MISS it. I miss the projects and the deadlines, knowing I've gotten something accomplished I can be proud of. I'm weird like that.
