I can’t believe I cried over two freaking OVA episodes. And it wasn’t the even the kind where ‘tears sprang into my eyes’, it was all-out bawling. I must be losing my touch.
The last two times I did this, were when I watched and rewatched the Valley of the End in Naruto. Those were serious waterworks, I tell you.

I havent read till anything between Riki and Isaon yet, though its very clear he went through hell under Iason. And Guy still has alot of feelings for Riki.

shit, it's just the fact it was released in 1992 (hence a little primitive), but otherwise it is SUCH A CLASSIC. in fact, i am going to slam whoever goes "OMG RIKI IS SO HOT, HE'S MINE!"; cause i KNOW riki is nobody's but iason's. period.
It really is super good, i can't believe how that author actually managed to cram so many layers of emotions AND social issues into one two-episode OVA. crazy? i say genius. the plot is so dynamic, and the characters are, yousaidit, so complicated they seemed real.
OMGGGGG that was, the best.

darling, the author didn't cram the plot into anime, the animators or whoever did. but still, kudos to him for thinking up such an absolufuckingtastic plot.
