I haven’t lived very long. Sixteen years, and that’s a fact. But I’ve decided to put all the milestones that happened in my short life into one entry. Just as a summary, you know. To see how far I’ve come. And so here they are, Obsession Milestones, if you wish.

But let’s start with an introduction, shall we? I’ve basically lived a sheltered life ( Read more... )

OMG, ditto everything! Well, except the part starting with Anne Rice and beyond. I kind of deviated over to non-fiction in sec 1 (I pause to think of a reason, but fail!)

wow it's good you poured it out, :D FINALLY someone who agrees that chick lit is shit. (I sincerely apologise if you're dead obsessed with princess diaries, because till now for me it's deep plot> guys + third parties+ bitchfights.)

hey aud, that was one good journey you made! hahaha wish i could have stuck to the good old story times-enidblyton, roalddahl, philip pullman! alas. =(

P.S. i know that missing series by blyton, is it the faraway tree thing, the enchanted land and all!

oh my god, a kindred spirit in the good ol' days! sigh. never thought I'd find someone else who absolutely adored Enid Blyton.

DOWN WITH CHICK LIT, I say. The only thing going for them is the cover page. And I -used- to be a little obsessed with Princess Diaries. BUT THAT'S ALL IN THE PAST. So you can slam it to hell without offending me.

Roald Dahl, ha ha. I liked him too, but it never got to be an obsession. I was more into Fantasy and Adventure. Any ohmygod, the missing series was another adventure one, but i totally forgot about the faraway tree thing! THAT WAS DEFINITELY ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES!!! Oh and also the Flying Chair series or something. Enchanted lands are the best! XD

muahahaha I love my obsession journey.

it's the magical adventures of the wishing chair yo!
hahaha i used to twirl round and round on the computer chair and pretend it could zoom off someplace cool.
i've matured since then, though.

why the sudden urge to list out all obsessions! i made a random disovery, your milestones are all book or show- inspired.

IAN.

ps. chick lit is <3. check out meg cabot's other creations!

I am in deep shit, aren't I. Ian, you are the ultimate chick lit lover. But that's part of the reason I like you. Because you're so shallow it's cute!

*gets shot* no, it isn't that. I like you just because you're you, even though I don't agree with you on the chick lit is <3 part.

You have seriously no idea how that image of you twirling on the computer chair made me laugh. *dies* yes, my life is seriously one big obsession, and without them, I would be existing without ceasing to exist. Hence, I believe that this post was inevitable and would have occurred sooner or later. JUST SO I COULD GET IT ALL OUT.

I live a double life, girl. Books and shows are the only things that are deep enough to get to me.

PS. I did check them out. I am very thorough when it comes to anything that intrigues me. Meg Cabot wrote a hell of a lot more than Princess Diaries, and all of them were *******

Sorry.

what's *******? i seriously can't think of any word which fits! but don't bother telling me, i don't think i would be too esctatic to know.

i told you i've since matured. now i stress it again.

guess what, i actually UNDERSTAND that your life is one big obsession! hmm, book and shows you can relate to eh. haha one day i'll really get down to reading the hobbit. :D:D:D

ps. i shall let the Because you're so shallow it's cute! thing pass. for now.

love,
GUESS WHO!
