The Great Debate

I know everyone and their grandmother has read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, and it seems really sad that I have only found time to review the final installment at this moment. I must definitely express my feelings on this book, but before that

I must wangst. I am sorry, but being in the middle of the Naruto manga currently, my heart has ( Read more... )

Yes, one thing which I must mention is that despite Naruto's evolved hotness, he still remains the child inside, and I absolutely adore him for it. XD Go Naruto!

I can only imagine Snape surviving... as a hero, and nothing less. However, I think he was more or less prepared for his own death, already. It was already obvious by that time that Lord Voldemort inevitably killed off those closest to him.

Okay back. But with regard to what I was saying about the characters being two-dimensional, I am changing my mind a little now about Snape! (though I hold the same stand for Dumbledore ( ... )

Actually I had been waiting for some insights into Harry+Teddy, how Harry would carry on to care for Teddy in Lupin's stead, would he have told him about the Marauders? Would he have taught him Patronuses? I was kind of let down with the "HE's SNOGGING VICTOIRE!" part...okay, this is too NORMAL a life, I am not accustomed to it!! -tears ( ... )

I couldn't hold back on discussing it, I can't believe how few people in our class read the book, and EVERYBODY refuses to hear spoilers, thus... HAHA you see the long comments ( ... )

Lol, how am I supposed to think outside of sex pairings? And just curious, did you read my reply to your first comment?

And we don't flame people here. We merely contribute opposing viewpoints. So you're welcome to think how you like.

Wow, thats bloody long comments.

Anyway, I like Dumbledore more too. And I didn't really see the point of the Hallows too, other than bringing out the less than perfect side of Dumbledore. Them camping around and all was pretty uninteresting, and I was only really curious how she was going to pull it all off.

Ron leaving and the deluminator was a little weird and pointless, ya.

and oh yes! Dobby and Kreacher! There were really many other sides revealed in this last book. I was cheering at the end of Kreacher and Regulus's story. =D Dobby's death was so sudden. I think Dobby's death and Harry digging the grave was one of the beautiful parts in the story. The part about them going to Luna's house and seeing the paintings of them was kinda sad and beautiful too.

aiya, I forgot what I was going to say. I shall comment again when I remember!

You freaking idiot. XD how does one forget what she wants to say, and forget to 'post' after typing? *is confused*

Anyway, Kreacher's miraculous change in loyalty was one of my favourite parts. Unfortunately, I found the whole 'digging grave with bare hands' rather cheesy, you see this all the time in gu dai serials, where the daughter gets hangnails trying to bury her dead father, all the while bawling incessantly...when it starts to rain etc.

The trip to Luna's house was unnecessary. It should not have been given one whole chapter, like some filler.
