Wow, SO FAMILIAR! Finally someone who speaks my language! We're writing four-part harmonies and having to figure out their chord progressions and such, like the IV6/4 chords and such, it's getting easier!

yay!! someone who understands!!! :) :) :) what Theory class are you in? Progressions got easier for me when I memorized the "common progression" chart in my book. Sadly, I've nearly forgotten it, and I have to refer to the pages when I write stuff for class. So many rules!! My teacher's philosophy is that we learn them so we can break them, but you already know that! :)

I'm glad it's getting easier for you. I love getting to the point when I'm like ... oh yeah, that ... easy!! :)
