Speaking in general:
It makes me feel unsettling when someone says that to me.
What is that suppose to mean? To me, it's an overused phrase that someone uses as an easy way out of a complicated/awkward situation. All it means is that it wasn't personal to you, but it was personal to me. Plus, what is so wrong with being personal anyway? Nothing... ( Read more... )

i fucking agree, man. and the other phrase i hate the most is when someone says, "don't take it personally, that's just the way he/she is". that's so fucking annoying. just because you're an asshole doesn't mean it's acceptable. anyway i agree 100% dude.
