I heard it from Mother. I understand--I'm emotionally invested in my car, and I don't have any kind of childhood memories associated with it. Then Father told me about the Station Wagon--I hope that works out so you can least have a method of getting to and from.

I also hear you're addicted to Civilization now, which is what I'm guessing the previous comments refer to. I think there's something with us and city-building PC games, because I seriously can't stop playing Age of Mythology.

If you're coming up anytime soon, Manuel rented Super Paper Mario for the Wii, and it is quite the old-style Mario, with more talking. You'd like it.

I most likely will be getting a mid 90s volkswagon. I know the owner took good care of it well and I am getting a good deal. Good timing with the car dying, huh?
and yes I am addicted!
I will be up there around chistmas time. We will play then. I still haven't seen Jake in ages!

I know how you feel, sister. I once had to watch my much-loved '86 Ford Fiesta being pushed off the back of a flat bed truck after I'd totalled it in an accident. It was all the more upsetting as it was all my fault, too. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried, since it had been a faithful companion and had been the scene of much good times.

I will shortly be in the sad position of having to pass on another much-loved car, my purple '95 Hyundai Accent. I'm moving to London in the new year and I won't be taking it with me, as it will cost a fortune to insure and I won't really need it. Instead it's staying in Bury St. Edmunds so my sister can have it when she passes her driving test. He's still as sprightly and reliable as he was when he was new, too. A true and faithful companion, indeed.
