I sympathise with poor Desdemona when she had such a dangerous stream poured in her ear...I know now what I would do if I were a man and wanted to make a girl love me.

Anyone who can place that quote can covet more of my admiration than they already do.

I wonder if that 'dangerous stream' bit is meant to invoke Hamlet. If so it really shades the ( Read more... )

I wish she'd stuck around longer; I enjoy her so. Unlike Bloom, who overall just agitates me.

I absolutely -adore- Othello. Have you seen the version with Kenneth Brannaugh and Laurence Fishburne? Absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it!
