Today has been the worst day. I sold the book my mom gave to me a few years ago to get money to buy her a present, but it turns out she really wanted me to keep the book and now I feel sad. And she doesn't know why I sold it, so she's upset with me and thinks I don't want the things she gives me. Also, Petsmart won't hire me because "the position

Have you considered applying at PetCo? I used to work there until the store closed down so they could put up a Panda Express and Quiznos (yeah... don't ask) and I was promoted to Animal Caretaker within a few months. I imagine now that more have grooming stations, you could probably train for that as well. You could also try some local hospitals - I started working at one when I was 17 as a switchboard operator with no previous experience - they paid me 12 dollars an hour and had great benefits. I'm sorry things are so shitty right now, you're handling it way better than I ever would/could have.

I would be ecstatic to work for Petco, but the nearest one is hella far away. This is a very, very bad location - ages from everywhere. That would more than likely be a pretty awesome job, though.

And that is a supercool idea; I think I'll check into that hospital thing. First, though, I have to FIND the hospitals around here. They're hidden from the old people, I guess...

HAHA, NO? My brother is like 100% pimp at heart and he will always be that way. But he let me watch .hack tonight, so he's cool for the next hour or so. Undoubtedly, he'll do something to fuck up his newfound reputation, but I don't care. I might be short, but I can bitchslap with the best of 'em.

#1 -- Call the hell out of the places you apply until finally they either hire you or tell you to sod off.

#2 -- I hate that your family life can suck a nut sometimes. (Or all the time... I'm not really sure, and I hate making assumptions.) Sometimes step-family can be bastards, especially when it comes to blood-family. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts. :(

Haha, my family life has its good times. Too bad they're just not constant. Well, if they were constant, I wouldn't appreciate the good times, and it would most likely seem like fake goodness. Thanks for the thoughts *hugs* I appreciate that.
