I dreamt I was a mouse in dramatic costume, bowling with other mice. Each of us had a special ability to help us leap over the lanes filled with ocean to knock the pins over. I had a bed of flowers and they could fly.
monterey is absolutely beautiful! i actually live in pacific grove, which is pretty much connected to monterey- i feel like i live in monterey because i work here! ha. i moved here from south dakota of all places a few months ago. in sd, everything is flat- here, there's the ocean, hills, mountains, the most beautiful forests! get on google earth and look at big sur- it's just minutes away from where i live! my boyfriend and i just went to limekiln state park. also, it's just a two hour drive or so from san fran, which is where we went for my boyfriend's birthday- i had never been to a french connection store before! ha! anyway, are there any specific questions you had about monterey? i'd be happy to answer them! I had a similar experience moving from florida to washington. Of course we have beautiful beaches here, brilliant white sand and blue water crashing against the shore, but the northern west coast was heaven to me. To have the ocean still, my home, mixed with cliffs dropping into it and wet lush forest greens to climb and live in, well it made me a very happy child and I smile still.
Big Sur - Jack Kerouac! One of my favorites. I always wanted to work in a state park. Maybe someday I will.
