So it's funny because no one probably cares anymore, but so it is. This summer, I live in a house in Oberlin and I do grown-up things, like buying groceries and paying rent and having a full-time job and multiple part-time jobs. I'm actually, overall, pretty unhappy. I don't like my job (I like the poeple though). Correction, I hate my job.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said. I'm living in an apartment in Ithaca this year, working full-time at a fairly boring job, and stressing about how much money I'm spending on rent, groceries, etc. Being a grown-up is tough.

Also, I know several people who have recently graduated from college and are getting married this summer. And I miss air conditioning, especially today.

Anyway, I hope things get more fun soon, and that you have a super, all-grown-up summer!

My LiveJournal things get sent to a different email address than my school address, which I check every thirty seconds, so I hadn't received a notice that anyone had commented, and I just checked to see, and I was a little panicked because no one has commented on me in a while and I was worried it'd be mean, so just imagine how FANTASTICALLY pleasantly surprised I was to see you!

Fortunately, I just decided to take my week off from work and drive home because, even though I never thought I'd say it, I really need it. Plus I have a friend I work with who wants to visit friends in the area. So I'm looking forward to the air conditioning and free groceries.

Lastly, I hope that you are doing well. I've been thinking about you lately for no particular reason other than I have lots of time in my head at work, and I hope that you are doing well (or as well as you can be being a grown-up). How are you doing?

I'm doing pretty well. This past year wasn't too great because of dealing with the ex-boyfriend and making a huge mistake by getting involved again. But I have a feeling that next year will be a lot better. For one, I'm living in an apartment with three friends, which will be a really nice change after living in a single dorm room for the last two years.

I hope you enjoy being home! Say hi to Massachusetts for me.
