Wow, just found out some great news and figured I'd share it with you. Konami is re-releasing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the Xbox 360. Downloadable over the Xbox Live Arcade. It'll probably cost like $15 but thats still better than the ginormous prices the original disc goes for on Ebay. I never had a chance to play this game, I bootlegged a copy of it back in the PS1 days (I just found the burnt CD) but I don't remember ever actually playing it, so I am happy now.
hm. thanks for the update, but it's not really great news considering that this is xbox live content--and i don't have one nor will i ever pay money for one.
one day Konami will start milking the next generation and they will re-re-re-release it again on a platform that i support, and all will be well.
but yes, that is a superb game.
meanwhile i just started with a fellow gamer on Snake Eater. i don't play MGS because i suck terribly at stealth i.e. when i tried the opening scene of MGS2 and gave up, but realized that i took myself too seriously.
I'm terrible at stealth action games as well, but I love the MGS storylines, thankfully they are always ridiculously easy on the Easy modes. I always play on the easiest settings until I can figure out how to get the cloaking device that is in every MGS game, then I play it on hard. So basically I am a dirty cheater. Personally I like MGS2 better than MGS3 (the camo system is kinda annoying) despite the annoyingness of some later characters. But MGS1 is still tops, if you can get your hands on the MGS1 game for the game cube, it's great. The awesome story of MGS1 with the fantastic gameplay additions of MGS2. Good Stuff
