Characters: Okita, Ami When: Forwarded to January, 1st Where: Random abandoned building Rating: Let's go PG Summary: Okita offered Ami to train her a bit...
Ami had left a note at the temple to let the girls know where she was off to, and hurried out first thing in the morning to the coordinates Okita had sent to her device the night before.
Typically New Year's was spent spending time with family, and Ami felt a bit guilty that she wasn't going to be there when the other girls woke. But this served a purpose, didn't it? And she didn't want the other senshi to tell her that it wasn't necessary.
In this place, it was necessary. She was a liability, and she knew it. So no matter what--no matter the pain, the humiliation--Ami had to do this. For their sake.
Arriving at the abandoned building, Ami wasn't sure what exactly to look for. She was dressed in warm layers, though beneath it she had found some looser, more mobile clothes should she need to shed the bulkier outfit.
She didn't know why she was expecting a dojo like Unohana-san's, but the abandoned building descended upon her with a sense of foreboding.
Okita spotted the girl outside of the building. He stopped his movements, a smirk forming on his lips. Was she too hesitant to get into the building? Oh well, he might could have fun with this.
He approached the door, but didn't open it, but just stood right next to it with his arms crossed. If she was to open it on her own, she might be surprised if she found him just standing next to her.
Ami was half-expecting Okita-san to meet him outside. While the weather was a bit harsh, that's where they'd be training, wouldn't they? Due to his big talk and plentiful warnings during the Christmas party, she was preparing herself to participate in the most unsuitable conditions plausible.
"...." She let out a tiny sigh, her brow knitting in worry when she saw that he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Perhaps he was waiting inside? It was probably warmer, and there was no reason for him to subject himself to the cold before she arrived, was there?
She gently knocked on the door and waited for an answer. When none came, she began to doubt. Had she mixed-up the coordinates? She looked down to her PCD. No. This was the spot. She reached out to the door, and gently tapped a few fingers against it to push it open.
"...excuse me..?" She quietly muttered, peering in to the abandoned building apprehensively.
He had waited patiently inside, tapping slightly with his foot on the ground. That did take a bit longer than he had expected, but he still was sure that her reaction would be certainly worth it to stretch it like this. After all, he had done already more tedious things to make fun of people and a bit of waiting wouldn't hurt.
Once he saw that the door was starting to move, he ceased any movements he had been making, waiting for Ami to open the door completely.
"Hello, Ami-chan", he said with a smiling face once Ami had muttered the words. Of course now they were standing almost directly next to each other.
