"Equius, Equius, I'm here!"

The announcement was rather unnecessary, as it came a few seconds after she'd burst into the room and pounced onto him. He might feel bad that he was always the one asking her for help, but Nepeta didn't see it that way. She took being his moirail seriously and was always honoured when he asked her for something like this.

She clung around his neck, rubbing her face on his hair for a moment. Eww, sweaty. But she didn't really mind. "What did you want to talk about?"

Nepeta's boundless energy was comforting but hardly infectious to the blue blood - his emotional range was less a range and more a binary switch between 'stoic' or 'mad'. Ordinarily, anyway. Today he was stuck somewhere in the middle at 'distraught'.

"W-Well, this is. Sort of embarrassing, actually. And you may not like it, Nepeta..."

And still Nepeta adored the great big blue-blooded troll, lack of emotional range or not. Seeing him happy was about the most important thing in the world to her, which was why she quickly settled down on top of him, ready to listen.

"Uh oh, that doesn't sound furry good. You'd better tell me."
