I am disappointed that we are no longer a part of each other's lives...
I would like to have told him that I was/am proud...

From my own experience I've learned not to trust amazing progress too quickly. Burning bridges can backfire on you, but so can believing too much too soon.

There is someone better out there for you...there IS. Believe it. And though the wait is hard it's worth it.

He's still jobless and living in his parent's spare room...

Talking about S____...
He is now the Director of Network Practices...
And I so wish I could congratulate him about this...
But when I broke up with him 3 years ago I told him to never call me again...said I'd do the same...
He said this time (we'd broken up a couple times during our relationship due to the distance) he really would honor my wishes...
And he has...
I haven't heard from him since...
