I worked at a place where this sort of situation actually happened. Unfortunately, it wasn't up to me and the situation ran it's course when he was finally fired. It took much too long to get his ass out the door, however, if it had been up to me he would have been fired much sooner.

Do you have proof of said hypothetical situation? Could you leave an anonymous tip for your higher ups?

Then as long as you have solid proof, I'd talk to your boss ASAP! Just keep things under wraps from anyone else.

personally, i try not to get in the way of anyone who is not doing something human rights violation-ish or hurting myself or someone i care about somehow.

Then again, I seem to generally be more of a workers vs. corporations type.

Good luck with your decision regardless!

I understand that mentality, but we're not really a "corporation"...it's a small, everyone-knows-everyone kinda business, and I'm friends with my boss because she and I worked together as equals before she got promoted.

Eeks, that's a sure way to violate a company's ethics code!

Leave an anonymous tip to someone. You'd be doing him a favor instead of him being sued for $$$$$$$ by your company later on.
