Lately after touching up a set a pictures that I took in October I realized my skin is aging hard and fast (probably due to alcohol abuse) and I decided to make some changes from my usual wash with water only and moisturize, make-up and never washing it off at night routine ( Read more... )

1. It can be if the exfoliate is too harsh. Does your skin hurt when you use it? Does the packaging say "Safe for daily use" or something along those lines? I use a gentle cream wash that contains some exfoliating beads in it but they are not harsh at all. A safe bet is to use most plain ol' exfoliants once a week ( ... )

Does salicylic acid help with wrinkles or anti aging stuff too?

Also I wanted to say that I seem to cover up my under eye circles color wise fine but the shine on my skin seems to still show where they drop in and thus they still show. Is there anything you would suggest doing to create the illusion that the skin is not deeper there?

I don't think SA helps w/ wrinkles, but keeps skintone even and pores clean (and clean pores = small pores!).

You could try a product like garnier's caffeine roller ball in your eye area. The caffeine supposedly increases circulation to that area. Some say it does nothing but others swear by it, so your mileage may vary.

There are also vitamins that encourage collagen production too, like lysine. Lysine's available OTC but if you're gonna add a vitamin to your regimen you might wanna ask your doc.
