I'm so numb, I can't feel

Mar 14, 2009 10:43

I really am starting to hate my life/where I am in life right now. It's all going so steadily downhill and I dunno how to make it stop. Things had been going so great over the past while, I moved in with the man I love, we got along amazingly, hardly ever fought. Then things changed. I'm not sure why or exactly when, but they did. And I'm pregnant ( Read more... )

I understand how all of a sudden when things are going great, everything falls apart. It happens a lot. I've gone in and out of depression stuff like that too, It sucks to be like "hey, I thought this was over" but you got yourself out of it before and you can do it again ( ... )

I second the thing about family. Just when you think they wouldn't care, they often do!

Oh, I'm not even thinking about popping pills. I haven't done anything that I know is bad for the baby since I found out I'm pregnant. I try to even not take in that much caffeine.

But as far as the family thing goes....none of them really seem to understand all this stuff. I've talked to my mom about it before, but nothing really seemed to really fall into her head, you know?

He's always there for me, but sometimes I think he just doesn't understand how to deal with me when I get like this cause he's never really had to deal with stuff like this before.

Hi,

You're pregnant, so you obviously cannot continue on like this. Have you been seeing an ObGyn? If so, I'd discuss with them about how you've been feeling--if not, get your butt to a planned parenthood or other doctor ASAP! There are things you need to be doing to prepare for your pregnancy!

From there the doctor can discuss your options with you or direct you to other doctors who can help you more. You may not have money but there are resources out there and you won't know about them until you ask what's out there.

No longer are you just responsible for yourself but you are responsible for your unborn child. Be honest with the man you love about how you're feeling and let him know you need his support during this most difficult time.

I don't know your age or how far along you are, or I feel I could help you a little more.

I just got onto medicade and stuff, it was a big hassle but I finally got it and I have my first doc. appt on the 20th. He's definitely here for me, but I think he just doesn't know how to deal with me when I get like this. I think it kinda scares him to see me like this, actually.

Oh and for the record: I'm 20 & about 4 months.

That's good. Are you taking any pre-natal vitamins? See what the doctor can do, definitely keep your guy in on how you're feeling as much as possible.
