So I have this cousin who became pretty easy in the eyes recently. We usually don't see each other a lot but since other cousins came over our houses for an upcoming wedding, we are in each other's presence as of late. Yeah, seriously, you can't help you fall in love with, though so far this sounds more like serious lust. Neither of you sound very old, so I'm sure hormones have a lot to do with things right now. Give it some time, figure out which it is. If it's love, and you talk about it, and it's mutual, well, then you'll just have to see where your priorities lie, and what you're willing to suffer to be together (ostracism, criticism, perhaps being unable to legally marry, depending on where you live.)

And anyway, third cousin and beyond are fair game, biologically speaking. If he's a closer cousin, consider adoption if you do get serious...just in case.

Oh, it's absolutely not what I'd call love. Serious lust is dead on, though. And it annoys me why I am having these feelings. Ugh.

But I am not consider taking it further than a crush. I know we can't take it further than flirtations.

FYI, he's 25 and I'm 17 and he's my first cousin.
