We got home around 8. He was out of surgery and awake by 5:15 but, as seems typical at hospitals, they did not release him until about 6:30. Then we stopped to fill the prescriptions. I didn't get around to posting until I had fed myself, him and the inside baby, who protested greatly at the disrupted schedule.
