I'm going to talk spoiler-free about the S8 premiere, although I'm also going to reason many different factors of my predictions. I'm not taking responsibility for anybody's sanity after reading this.

*half heartedly waves Go Team SO flag* It seriously is stupidly optimistic isn't it? She's gonna die. The worst thing though is that when she dies all the grillows are gonna be shoving it in our faces, and peeps will be all 'Yay, see TPTB finally realised how crap GSR is' and because we're nice GSRers we'll just go away... and THEN every GSRer is gonna stop posting like everywhere and I'll be all alone.

nah, cheer up egg. it's only a TV show after all and everything needs to come to an end. tragedy on CSI is actually something that would fit. both Grissom and Billy are Shakespeare fans, and i wouldn't be so sure if WP was against Sara's death. i think he is against it as a producer who cares about the future of the show, but as an actor and an artist he might like that idea. so yeah, again my reasoning didn't help with anything, lol.

Not that I don't like newbies, it's just not the same without my favorite bunch of people who are as crazy about the whole deal as i am and our extensively long interpretations of scenes, the show and the relationship itself. Without them, I don't see why I should go there as much and risk getting spoiled.
I totally know what you mean, I have been like avoiding the GSR thread as well, eggy had to force me to post, and it had nothing to do with GSR ( ... )

One last thing, if she does die, she better die really sexy. Preferably with little to no clothes on, maybe they could get ripped off by Grissom before he starts CPR and such like. (A nice black lacy bra would be good) Whilst he's at it, perhaps some tongue slippage during mouth to mouth, and taking off clothes to stem some blood flow.

Poor adz, she posts this thought out rant/thought filled post on the state of GSR and you start babbling about ripping off shirts and such, i mean seriously did you just say 'die sexy'?
And If you through another toy mustang car at my head I will through a real one at yours!

Ok, as a Grillow fan, I would NOT Shove it in your face.
But you do make some intersting points about spoilers. I think you are right that TPTB are trying to lead us in different directions in terms of what will happen this season.

And, *fears will break your spoiler-free zone* I thought the premiere episode was called Dead Doll?

yeah, i just found out today that they've changed the title. on IMDB it's still Hard Evidence though. tbh, i like it more than Dead Doll. understandable ;)

basically this is the only thing i allow myselg to know - the title of the ep. it never gives anything away. but i hope this one means that it's the little engine on the Sara-miniature that will stop working, not real Sara. or something.

As much I am I mostly convinced that they are going to kill Sara off, I'm still optimistic that they won't. Why? Because I watched too much sci-fi/ fantasy growing up. I wonder why I actually side-stepped into crime drama in the first place. Oh yeah, Grand Powers That Be kept cancelling all my shows for a period there... feckers ( ... )
