Harry Potter: HBP (Complete with SPOILERS!)

Just saw HBP.

Amazing.

First...Loved it overall.

The beginning (as in...first five minutes) was slightly nonsensical, however.
Also...for a movie entitled "Half Blood Prince"...there really is very little about the Half Blood Prince/Snape's family history. In the book, there was quite a bit more research about Snape's past that was sadly left out of the movie.

The CG was beautiful. The costuming was AMAZING!

Small gripe: The wandwork...I know, so nerdy of me, but...Harry, Ginny, and Dumbledore really did not have any "magic" in the way they used their wands. The movements seemed listless. Snape, however, was perfect. Everything about his character exuded magic and menace. (Alan Rickman is a god.)

Young Tom Riddle was portrayed exactly as one would think while reading the books. Intelligent, slick, dangerous, and unnerving.

I'll admit...because of time constraints, if you haven't read the book, it may be a bit difficult to follow. Especially the whole "Half-Blood Prince" thing and Snape's motivations behind killing Dumbledore.
