It's been an interesting day: a potluck "tea" to celebrate a friend's family's 75th anniversary for having moved to Halcyon followed by going on a quick shopping trip with my Russian friend. Well, the first day (evening, night and morning, really) of our 5-day storm set netted us 1.5 inches in the rain gauge on the back porch. That's not bad at all. I figure around next Monday, I'll check in again at the webpage for our county's reservoir lakes and see how the percentage full business is doing. While I was having my weekly phone call with engarian, it started to rain. YAY!!!! Not much more than about 1/10th of an inch so far, but supposedly it's gonna rain through Saturday.
