We have two cats, one of which was inherited from a friend of a friend and one of which was rescued from a garbage alley by Rick. The former has been neutered, the latter has not. Does it actually make a difference, health-wise? I mean, I know it's supposed to make them less territorial and aggressive (neither of which are really a problem with this guy) but I've never heard anything one way or another about the health benefits.
I'm also kind of concerned because most of the cheap clinics around here are really skeevy. We can't spare $200 to take him to a vet, but I don't want to go to someone who's going to kill our cat by accident.
