I respect Krauthammer, and he's not necessarily wrong. But I still feel that the points he made about McCain were not enough to invalidate the stupendously cynical and ominous choice of Sarah Palin for running mate. That decision alone is enough to turn the entire election into no contest.

It's not so much that I disagree with him (although I do) as that I object to the way he paints McCain as the knight in shining armor. I'm very suspicious in general of that kind of rhetoric and in McCain's case, I don't think it's particularly justified.
