I was wondering if you're going to participate in NaNoWriMo again this year? How did it went for you last year? Hah, I quit at 30k words because my story was hopeleeeeeess and not going anywhere. *snicker* I'm going to try again this year even though I don't even have time. WAY too swamped with college stuff. >_<

Hah, NaNo was a veritable disaster last year. I began, flush with determination to write, but it took three days for me to fall far behind, and I gave up within the week. Actually, it had the opposite of its intended effect--I wrote less than I think I would have had I not decided to try it!
That said, I'm planning to hold my own mini version of NaNo: write something every day, however small. This tends to work best for me, helps set the habit. Also, it allows some flexibility for the days/weeks when I'm swamped with classwork.
I wish you luck with your own endeavor! 30k is pretty close, sounds like victory is definitely within reach for you this year. :)
