Characters: Prince Caim of the Union, Lord Zalbag Beoulve of Ivalice
Date: Last Night
Summary: Caim checks on Zalbag since they're sort of like old friends. They discuss this Forbidden Hour nonsense and the Masses of Black. Caim also begins the hunt on the woman who keeps smacking him with things on [and off] campus.
Warnings: Zilch.
"Caim" (8:29:19 PM): Zalbag.
"Zalbag" (8:29:31 PM): Hmm? Lord Caim?
"Caim" (8:29:51 PM): ...That's a title I haven't been called since the war with the Empire.
"Caim" (8:29:57 PM): I wanted to see how you were progressing.
"Zalbag" (8:34:34 PM): I'm progressing fairly well. Though, I am but a little surprised to find myself still a bit fatigued from last night's events.
"Caim" (8:35:22 PM): I imagine a full moon gives us a little more to do. What I don't understand is why only select people seem to have an idea of what's really lurking around after the sun sets.
"Zalbag" (8:37:39 PM): I've not a single idea. Though from what I've been able to observe, said people have some sort of special ability. What exactly that is, I'm in need of time to deduce.
"Caim" (8:38:32 PM): I'm starting to think it doesn't matter what the ability is. Anyone with this said 'ability' has an obligation, and that is to make sure shit doesn't get out of control.
"Zalbag" (8:39:29 PM): I've been doing all I can to fend them off. We ought to find out where the source of these creatures are... and why they only appear at the strike of midnight.
"Caim" (8:41:15 PM): And why when midnight strikes, time seems to put itself on pause, along with random power struggles and other things of that nature. I don't care much about the masses of black. I'm more interested in killing them.
"Zalbag" (8:43:11 PM): Mayhap the doctor should be aware of this as well. He and I have been doing all we can to fend off these horrid creatures. Though last night, I saw a rather muscularly built man and his silver-haired friend go deeper into the city to destroy something that seemed to be of greater importance.
"Caim" (8:45:11 PM): Maybe it's a 'mother ship' concept. Take out the source, and as you said, we might need to find it, whatever 'it' is. Most of the time, I would think that we can cover more ground if we separate, but perhaps there's something to this whole idea of unification.
"Zalbag" (8:46:05 PM): Mayhap. Though we'd be much better off if we study these creatures a bit more...
"Caim" (8:46:44 PM): Oh, good. I want to hack and slash at them for a little bit longer.
"Zalbag" (8:47:21 PM): If you encounter anything interesting, please inform me.
"Caim" (8:49:26 PM): I would ask that you do the same. Now then, aside from the masses of black, I have two more questions for you. The first, being, how are you?
"Zalbag" (8:53:33 PM): I fair quite well, currently. Save it that I'm a little fatigued. And yourself?
"Caim" (8:54:23 PM): Sufficient, aside from obnoxious people, which brings me to my next question. There was an overly-active young woman at the gathering last week. Blonde hair, very... chipper creature. Do you know anything about her?
"Zalbag" (8:57:03 PM): Hmm.... I believe I did hear someone who was quite.... exposed, for lack of better word.
"Zalbag" (8:58:02 PM): (see, not hear)
"Caim" (8:58:07 PM): Exposed is one way of putting it. Any idea what her name is? I think I'm going to pay her a visit.
"Zalbag" (8:59:12 PM): I cannot say that I do. While I've the tools to see where an individual has been assigned to, I require a name. My apologies.
"Caim" (8:59:47 PM): Any idea of someone who would know of her?
"Zalbag" (8:59:52 PM): Hmm....
"Zalbag" (9:01:08 PM): I sadly do not. However, she comes from a place called Athens. Mayhap you can capitalize on that fact and see if you may be able to speak with her. You are interested in her?
"Caim" (9:01:22 PM): I'm interested in killing her, yes.
"Zalbag" (9:01:39 PM): .....You jest.
"Caim" (9:01:46 PM): No. No, I don't.
"Zalbag" (9:01:59 PM): I understand that she may be overbearing, but...
"Caim" (9:02:22 PM): She's deserving of the outcome, Zalbag.
"Zalbag" (9:02:36 PM): Do you not consider that being an easy way out for her?
"Caim" (9:02:57 PM): No. I consider that being 'fun' for me.
"Zalbag" (9:03:16 PM): Once you do that, what more fun could be had? I would advise torture than death.
"Caim" (9:03:36 PM): ............ Strangely, that's valid.
"Zalbag" (9:03:41 PM): In any case, I must scourge for food. I shall return.
"Caim" (9:03:48 PM): Right.
