Lelouch was once again skipping class. He often did this simply because he was far enough ahead that it wouldn't really affect him academically, much to the chagrin of his professors. The roof of the school was wet from a drizzling sort of rain earlier in the day, so he instead went to the library, his other hide-out. There he could look up the latest news on the internet or read a book on something without being asked a million questions. Or maybe he could get even further ahead in his classes ( ... )

If Sheeda was good at one thing, it was not letting her face betray her thoughts. And this was a prime example. She noticed him right when he came waltzing through the doors of the library with that 'bored out of my mind' look he always seemed to have gracing his features. If he smiled a bit or looked a little less arrogant, he would be a handsome looking boy.

Who does he think he is, anyway? Strutting in here as if... She couldn't finish her thought - she lost it half-way through. He has...violet coloured eyes? It was the first time she really noticed, but it did nothing to stop her feeling for revenge ( ... )

Lelouch didn't care about her - he was focused on something he deemed much more important. He would worry about the project later; he would worry about her later. He had to admit he was drawn to her.
She could be useful later, he thought, making a mental note of her. He wasn't sure what information she could potentially have for him, but it could be important nonetheless.

Then he remembered what he came here for. He closed the cover of his laptop and went to the library's directory, passing by the blue-haired princess without a second glance or thought. A minute's search told him where the world history section was.
Perhaps this is where I can find out more about these different...universes.

He then sensed there was someone behind him, someone clearing their throat, and then nothing.
"What do you want?" he asked roughly, a little harsher than he intended.

She watched him go past her from the corner of her eye and decided to follow him. This was her chance to get some answers. She saw him looking for something and had to fight back the urge to say, as sarcastic as possible, "May I help you with something, sir?"

Instead she cleared her throat so he would turn around. This wasn't the best way to confront someone, she knew, but it was the easiest way she could think of right now.
"Could you be anymore rude?" she countered, crossing her arms. "I was only going to ask if you needed help finding something. That's my job and everything." She then shot him a glare and looked him up and down.

Well here was something to break monotony as the redhead was incredibly talented at doing. He seemingly suddenly appears before her, leaning on the cart, his bright red hair pulled back by a contrasting black bandanna.

"Yo, Coworker-chan ♥" he greeted her. "How's it goin'?" Unlike Sheeda, Rabi loved his job as a library assistant. He got to surround himself with books all day, all the time. It was like heaven. He was such a booknerd.

Sheeda nearly jumped from surprise at Rabi's suddenly being there in front of her. She quickly recovered.

"Hello, Rabi," she greeted back. "I've been fine. How about you?"
It wasn't that Sheeda didn't like her job. She often went around and read something or reorganised something when she was bored. But sometimes the slow days just...got to her. This was such a day.

The redhead shrugged. "Not really busy." He enjoyed the non-busy days only to read. However he'd read most of the periodicals and encyclopedias that had crossed the front desk recently and was currently searching for something new to read.

Faster days, however, kept him more occupied. "Wouldn't hurt if it were a li'l more busy, yanno?"

"I have to admit, I've been hoping it would fill with more people. Or at least something...interesting." Sheeda had read most of the romance section, not because she enjoyed such novels, but because it was her personal mission to read everything in the library.

"Usually this is one of our busier days. It's too...quiet."
