Characters: Caim, Furiae
Date: This Evening / Tonight
Summary: As promised, Caim wants to meet Furiae at the beach west of Aegean's campus. It's that time. She deserves it.
Warnings: Caim wouldn't call it this, but it might as well be a 'date'.
Often times when Caim spoke, things began to move very quickly. The night prior, he'd been fully willing to offer farewell to Furiae in hopes of protecting her. Then without even knowing where it came from, he'd said it. Well, he typed it. That was good enough, wasn't it? Apparently.
He went through the following day distracted by his thoughts and the plans he'd made with his sister. His sister. It was one thought he couldn't quite get out of his head. Furiae was more than that, though, wasn't she? He couldn't see her as simply that any longer. Tonight would amplify that for him, and for her.
Caim did everything he set out to do. He held his meeting with Quistis, stopped by Junes for the same laptop Furiae had gotten, and picked an appropriate bouquet for her, white acacia and red gardenia flowers. After he freshened himself up with a shower and dampened shaggy hair, he dressed nicely. Far too nice for school, and yet, nice enough for Furiae. With a head raised high, he seemed to ignore the idea that he was carrying flowers and looking more like a man than a soldier in the military.
And to the beach he went.
