Who: Aigis, Open
Where: Train station, school, mall, pretty much anywhere.
When: Tuesday, May 26th
Summary: The mechanical maiden arrives! :D
Warnings: None.
“Wait for me! Don't leave me! I-” Aigis awoke jarringly, nearly tipping herself out of sophisticated chair that held her slumbering body. She gasped and choked as if drowning for a moment, wanting to cough but possessing no lungs that required clearing. Aigis could no more drown than she could starve, and yet every time she woke from these dreams she felt as if she suffered from a lack of air, and that a hunger stirred deep within her - or a hole gaped with emptiness.
The robotic being sighed, giving up sleep for the rest of the night. She lowered the high-tech chair to the ground, and stepped wearily onto the dorm room's solid wood floor. As always, the beams creaked somewhat ominously beneath the weight of her mechanical bulk, but inevitably they carried her weight and she went on unsteadily to the set of rough wooden crates that served as her makeshift desk. There was a letter there, perhaps brought in by Yukari-san or Mitsuru-san, but more likely Fuuka-san since Aigis knew that the other two were often keeping themselves as busy as possible these days - their own way of dealing with the loss.
The loss.
Aigis firmly shifted her thoughts away from regrets and sadness, though it took more effort each time to do so. Despite her efforts at control, her metallic fingers trembled as she opened the envelope, looking at the contents with muted curiosity. That anyone would send her a letter was unusual, for most people at school had made no overtures to becoming friends and Aigis had not pursued any possible friendships with the sense of loss still dragging her down. Her gleaming blue eyes took in the simple invitation's words, her gaze scanned the ticket, and then Aigis nearly crushed the papers between her heavy fingers. How could anyone know? Who has left me this? Why? But none of the questions mattered so much as the certainty that blossomed in the emptiness of Aigis' chest.
“I will live. Somewhere else if I need to.” She declared softly, robotic voice trembling slightly as she carefully smoothed the letter and paper back out. It took only a few minutes to write a note and gather the few things she needed to bring with her. There was not much, and sadly, nothing of his to save. His Evoker was not hers to take, so she left it with the note, though she regretted her need to leave it as much as she regretted the nagging feeling that she was running away. “To run, I must have something I am running from.” Aigis insisted to herself softly. “There is nothing here to run from, anymore.” She continued sadly to herself, before slipping out the door.

The train left her in a collection of buildings that reminded Aigis far too much of Gekkoukan High School's city for it to be any comfort at first glance. Her suitcase, which weighed much more than a normal human could carry, bumped gently against Aigis' leg and jostled her into the realization that she should survey the area clearly before deciding anything. There was a school, and large store of some sort called 'Junes'. There were students of all sorts, teachers, and regular people going about their daily lives. The normalcy of it all, when many of the students and teachers didn't always look exactly human, was almost disconcerting. Aigis wasn't sure what she had been expecting, but it hadn't been exactly this...
A feeling tugged at her mind, a familiar danger like the faint scent of gunpowder...then in was gone. Aigis looked about, took a step away from where the train had left her off, and tried not to feel too overwhelmed.
