Finally got back horse riding today after just over 8 months off from the broken leg. PeeJay was a real arse in the stable which had me a bit nervous, but as usual once on and going he instantly calmed down. Was only out a short time with Simon walking with me. The work starts soon for him ;-)

Felt really bad yesterday though. Tried to get his bridle on and he was acting up. He's had a bridle on a few times before and never been much trouble. Alsion his previous owner gave me a had. We got it on and then a tooth fell out. Poor thing was loosing a baby tooth and we didn't notice :-(. I'm hoping he won't remember this too much and getting a bit in will be OK again. He didn't even want his headcollar on today though. Annoyingly we had to catch Neo and MiMi who share the field with PeeJay before PeeJay would be caught, as soon as he thinks the others are going somewhere without him he'll be caught easily.
