(no subject)
So fandom now! And I must talk about fandom because I've just recently gotten into two new ones: Ao no Exorcist and Deadman Wonderland. :0
So Ao no Exorcist first. I love this series to death. Rin is the cutest shounen main character ever. I doesn't hurt that he has a tail or this stupid goofy smile or that he just wants to be friends WITH EVERYONE. >:O So cute. The plot of series is actually very good and I love the artwork. The anime seems to like to change little things that shouldn't bother me, but they do. Like how Rin finds out Yukio wants to be a doctor. Anime: Yukio putting in on a christmas tree. Manga: Rin coming to save Yukio who's being bullied and then finds the torn up piece of paper. The latter fits more because Yukio looked up to Rin for always being the stronger one and Rin's kinda thrown for a loop when those roles are reversed. So idk CHRISTMAS TREE DOESN'T CUT IT. NEEDS MORE BLOOD AND TEARS.
I also ship Rin madly with Bon. And maybe Shima. But really I love him with everyone because he loves everyone ;; so cute. The only problem is that fandom loves to ship him with his twin brother. 95% of the fandom has to be YukioxRin shippers. And Rin's always the bitch haha. All I see on my tumblr dash is YxR, Rin, Yukio, and maybe a small smattering of other characters. But really just YukioxRin.

The other series I've recently delved into would be Deadman Wonderland. I've seen this series around, but never knew what it was about. Then I watched the op theme for the new anime and a;sldfjas;dfkj HAD TO FIND OUT.
The series is very dark and gory, but I really love the art, the pace and the story. I think the pacing is what sets it apart from other shounen series. The series does not waste time on getting down to it. Single fights usually take a chapter or two, whole arcs are over within a volume and the story moves along with out slowing down. Other series, like Naruto and Bleach, drag on for volumes and volumes and you just want to tag out. I know Bleach right now is pissing me off with where it's at and heading *hates "Ichigo must train for 10,000 pages while other characters are ingnored" arcs*. The only problem I have with DW is the character death. No character is safe! I stopped reading the manga for a while because it looked an awful lot like one character I did not want to die was going to die! And then it appeared safe, so I started reading again only to see that they died. ;; I was so mad! But as long as Ganta and Senji's awesome bromance never dies I suppose I can live.
