We've got a pretty good yogurt for breakfast, fruit for lunch thing going. Dinner is basically whatever veggies we're having (tonight it was roasted potato, carrot and broccoli). She's totally fine having multiple chunks in front of her at lunch, but at dinner she just shoves them all in her mouth at once. Crazy baby

basically, this person suggests substituting plain yogurt for the egg in a box mix and cutting 5 minutes off the bake time. i've also heard the applesauce trick, but i'm ambivalent. you might try talking to reme; i think she's dabbled in vegan recipes.
i looked at allergy info a little bit in finding cake mix for a friend of mine with a severe dairy allergy. apparently duncan hines is really good with allergen information. (i found a duncan hines box that was Orthodox Union certified kosher, not just one that didn't list dairy as an ingredient, and my friend was fine. i made my own frosting, though.) there seems to be a lot of information out there on allergy avoidance, though some of it seems conflicting. when in doubt, i keep reading.
