I am just a lowly reader who really enjoys your work and will look to find you where ever you may happen to 'live'

same with the other comics I enjoy...I don't care really WHO is hosting, just the fact that they are being hosted

Being published by a certain firm is only important in academia, and then only because certain levels of academic prestige are attached to specific publications (i.e., JAMA, NEJM). Outside of that, as long as you're out there, why does it particularly matter? And why should it be a point of contention?
