10th of Awesome #12 : Part 3

Jun 24, 2010 17:57

Third post! Six this time, finishing out the deviantart peeps.

To start, ravenskar. Ravenskar is a digital artist, and makes some very good...semirealistic? not entirely sure if that’s the right descriptive term, but hey, it’ll do. Anyway, her figures are quite good, and she’s good with colors-yes, I have a thing for color.

Oh, rufftoon. If anybody looks at my Avatar icon posts, you’ll have seen this lady’s art a couple times. She is funny. She does mostly Avatar fan-stuff and other fanart, so sorry if you’re not into that thing; but she is rather funny across the board.

And another especial favorite of mine, perhaps some of you know her...the illustrious (and illustrative) saerabbande! She does some lovely work, some of which I even have samples of myself (I’m keeping them until she becomes famous...and then still keeping them ;) ). I love her watercolors, I love her drawing style; I am a BIG fan, let me tell you. And now allow me to share with you some of my favorite samples:

Fourth is tir-ri. Another lady I love, love, love. She makes beautiful watercolor drawings, although her style is a bit different than those from the past; she tends more towards the less bright colors, although she also dabbles in digital.

And now, last but not least, yayacosplay. Yayacosplay is a bit different; instead of painting or making digital art, she makes costumes. And damn, is she good at it. You might not recognize some of the characters here, but I’d say the work definitely stands for itself. I’ve always very much admired people who can sew and otherwise create clothes and costumes (yeah I’m lucky if I can repair a two-inch rip). Anyways, enjoy. (Oh, also boobs, painted over.)

There we go-only one more installment, and that’s all non-deviantart. Until then!
