Sometimes when one’s health is in question,
it focuses one’s attention on living life to the fullest.

I have been exploring the volcanos on Hawaii,
and this week I am off to Paris.
But I really do not know how non-artists
manage to find any balance in this world at all.

Please keep sharing your prose, poems, and images.

Hello my friend.....

Volcano.... I love that area... full island magique and some of our artists friends live there..... you know Patrick Sarsfield? Most folks in the Volcano area knows Patrick..... my husband had some shows with him. He is originally from San Francisco and transplanted her many years ago. Good luck in your travels and take care of your health.

Oh, I feel the same way you do about lava and volcanos. I collect postcards and imagery of them. I am completely transfixed by them. Last year, or maybe it was the year before -- when we went to Hawaii to see the eruption that was pretty active at the time, I realized I was the most impressed by the little bits of land that hadn't been overtaken by the flows and the very few people who were standing their ground. There was one guy who had to park his car miles from his house and ride a motorcyle over the cooled lava anytime he wanted to leave or return, and there was another couple who were running a Bed and Breakfast in the middle of the fields. Fascinating.
