Wow... I don't really know what I even want to talk about. It's been a long time, and it's been harder and harder to motivate myself to write something. ok so yes, Nick got turned down... but i really think you should still ask him if he's going to be cross with you long-term if you and erika got together, and make sure you tell him that you'd rather be in his good books than her bed.

if he's a good guy, he should give you the ok ANYWAY, and with you saying that, he'll respect you for it as well, so double win.

one person i know would be like "well he's not in and it's a free country so.." but friendships are more important, IMO.. and i hope yours too!

anyway, good luck! all i ask is that you do the right thing by Nick.

See, I guess I know what you're saying, but Nick and I aren't THAT close. Besides, he's quite pissed at me already, so it seems I've already crossed the tolerable line in his book.

Bleh... This is pretty complicated. He's making everyone involved feel bad, which makes me wonder if I'M making everyone feel bad. But, I'm gonna just trust my gut. I over analyze too much and I want to do what's right for me now, you know?

We have a saying over here stateside that equates to that (and no offense to the girls reading this): "bros before hos". Crude, yes, but the meaning is there.

Personally, I'm more immediately concerned about the fact that willing to be so friendly with a boyfriend at home. That throws up all kinds of red flags to me. :/

In other news, if Nick can't handle getting rejected, that's his problem. Not yours nor Erika's. He doesn't have the right to take it out on the rest of you and try to sabatoge anything that may be between you and Erika. Sounds like Nick has a good bit of growing up left to do.
