I really like how you're slowly building up their relationship - the way they're each approaching it, the unease with each other, their unwillingness to push the boundaries, it all feels so right, and so real.
I also enjoyed how you've tackled the realistic side of 'what if they were stranded off-world' with discussions of clothing, and food, and building shelter, and burying their colleague. You're not shying away from the fact that, hey, they might need his jacket come winter.
Can't wait for part three - now that Jack's shown his hand a bit, and Carter's shot him down! :)
