With everyone home all the time, it's so hard to get quiet. We normally have a quiet home, but I really, really need a lot of space and silence and it's hard to get these days. I do a lot of getting up early and taking advantage of what peace there is with everyone else sleeping. That makes it sound like we have hordes here, "everyone," instead of

Set up the backyard for any outdoor fireplace?

We've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure if we'd want something more focused towards cooking, or entertaining, and the expense is enough for either choice (e.g. wouldn't want to pick the wrong one or do both in a short time period) that my indecision is a bit paralyzing. That's probably also why I'm focused on the back porch space, I know what to do with that!

Having a full house is lovely but not being alone sometimes is hard. There are five of us in 3 bedrooms and a living room. The girls often go to their mothers on the weekend so then it’s just me, Angie and mom. But I usually have to leave to get any ‘alone’ time. I empathize.

Congrats on getting into a good school and good luck to all as that change approaches!

Oh gosh, 5 in 3 bedrooms has to be more than hard. My sympathies entirely. Does Angie still get to go to day programs, or is she stuck at home with the rest of you?

Angie won’t keep a mask on so a day program really isn’t an option right now.

We definitely get in each other’s hair but we have fun too of course!

We sort of turned out living room into a bedroom with a twin “daybed” and the girls have bunk beds so we have been creative! :)
