YAY!!!! A bad review! Whoot! I suck!

Well- I got a review for my novel snippet- and it was like being back in the RATM days! From anonymous, of course! Well, if DaVinci codes got published, who is to say there is no hope for the rest of us. I am the one stop shop for crappy prose.  And now my first rave review!!!!

I'm way more horrified by that review than I ever was while reading the RATM torture scenes.

Let that person stick to their everything-is-happy-and-pretty books.

WOW...... yeah..... if they want to believe the world is flowers and daisies and sugar and spice and everything nice... wow. Just... wow. i love how they try to make themselves sound all high-and-mighty. I'd say every memorable and successful story has strife in it.... they need to wake up and smell the sulphuric acid...

I frequently come across books (sometimes from established authors) and I think to myself - "How on earth did that ever get published?" Sometimes I add "without a serious editing" because it's clear theunderlying book is OK, it just needed to be pruned and tightened up.

I confess I didn't read the novel snippet, but I love RATM and I am really looking forward to reading more of it when the planets are aligned and the muses are favourable.

I always wonder why people bother to read things they know they will offend them. Then they totally flame the story because the material (surprise surprise) offended them. People confuse me.
