Awesome. You might consider making some John McCain versions of this as well. I doubt he could be quite as bad as Bush but he hasn't done enough to distance himself and I expect he would take advantage of all the bad precedents of his predecessor.

I am not sure that Americans will care that much for the responsibilities of maintaining liberty now that we have (#1) become largely resigned to political lying and corruption at the highest levels; #2) invaded so many places so disasterously; and (#3) been suckered into becoming the world's biggest collective debtor. Double failure undermines confidence and digging out of it (if possible) takes massive effort. Can any politician be clean enough to unite us in the face of such unavoidable unpleasantness?
Much depends on who rises after we finish falling - an inevitable process that Bush hastened but did not cause, and that no president can reverse.
Good sentiments, if sadly archaic.
