my 2 cents is no, you don't have to post starting weight :) challenge isn't to make anyone uncomfortable. Just post 0 and then update with -1 or -20 or whatever you've lost. That's what I'd suggest anyway...

I approve of the honor system. It means you get to calculate your own % of body weight lost too, and I have absolutely no problem with either of those things.
