I sometimes think that if I pay too much attention to what's going on in the world I will simply crumple from the weight of it. At least that's how I am these days, it doesn't hurt so much if I look the other way.

I don't have so much respect for the army or what they do, on the other hand I commend a soldiers courage but with that should come wisdom also not just brute strength and the will to possibly get yourself killed.

Too many times those who follow do not know the intentions of their leader all too well, and that's what worries me, although your intentions might be well and good, it all falls down to those who are giving the orders, you might not like them but will probably have no choice about the matter.

If only more people were willing to do something about the ways of the world with words and actions that do not neccessarily pertain to violence. Those who fight this way without the use of weapons and so forth are the ones who have my undying adoration and respect. We choose, and we have choices, they define who we are

I certainly don't respect the order-givers! I hope I didn't give that impression.

Maybe respect is the wrong word, but I will certainly say I'm grateful to the low-ranking soldiers, who are simply there to fight for our freedom.

And yes, the thinkers of the world should be handed the reigns and the bullies kicked out of the drivers seat, but we all know that'll never happen!
